The compactor is used for leveling the soil surface and preparing the seedbed before sowing. An important part of pre-sowing preparation is achieving a level soil profile after prior operations.

Consolidates the soil with the rear roller, which finely breaks down the remaining clods and restores the soil structure, thus pulling moisture to the surface
Finally, levels the soil surface with the toothed bar for further sowing.
