Hydraulic harrow БПГП-14

Harrow BPG-14 (spring) is a universal soil implement.

Spring harrows have found very wide application in Ukraine, as they address many agronomic tasks with enormous productivity while consuming minimal amounts of fuel and lubricants.

The working element of the harrow is a cone-twisting spring with two ends (Ø10 mm) that impact the soil.

This element exhibits characteristic behavior under load – it oscillates left and right at working speeds over 12 km/h and ensures practically continuous coverage with a working depth of 2–8 cm.

Smooth adjustment of the tine attack angle allows the spring harrow to be configured for any operating conditions, making it a universal and highly popular implement.

The spring harrow is used for:

• Even distribution of post-harvest residues across the field;
• Spring harrowing to break up the surface crust;
• Elimination of weeds during the white thread stage (weeding);
• Retaining moisture by interrupting the capillary flow from the lower soil layers;
• Leveling the soil surface after primary tillage;
• Covering seed and fertilizers;
• Continuous soil cultivation during crop care and preparation for sowing;
• Collecting straw and hay into windrows;
• Pre-sowing and post-sowing harrowing.
• It is especially noteworthy that 7 sections of the harrow, equipped with 144 springs, ensure uniform treatment across the entire width of the implement regardless of the field’s relief.
