Surface loosening is reminiscent of no-till plowing, as it effectively mixes plant residues with the soil. This not only promotes faster decomposition of organic materials but also supplies the soil with nitrogen without the need for additional fertilizers, significantly reducing agrochemical costs.
A shank width of 40 mm allows it to withstand extreme loads when working at great depths. It is equipped with a protective shear bolt that can handle up to 10 tonnes of load, which in turn provides reliable protection against breakages. The shank stands out for its high strength and durability. The thickness of the longitudinal frame elements is 20 mm, and the cross tubes are 10 mm thick.
OSIRIS-9 is equipped with a unique double toothed roller that effectively breaks up soil clumps and thoroughly mixes the top layer.
This important stage of seedbed preparation is especially beneficial for sticky and wet soils.
The cross-arrangement of the teeth ensures better self-cleaning of the roller during operation, enhancing its efficiency and durability.
It is ideally suited for heavy soils thanks to its aggressive penetration and high efficiency in deep loosening.
