No-till technology (conservative cultivation) in agriculture — it is a method of soil cultivation, in which the mechanical treatment of the soil surface is reduced or completely eliminated. The main idea is to preserve the natural structure of the soil (plant residues at least 30%), improve its fertility and reduce erosion.
This approach has numerous advantages. First, it helps retain moisture, which is especially important in drought conditions. Secondly, fuel consumption and processing time are reduced, which makes production more cost-effective. Third, no-till technologies contribute to increasing biodiversity in the soil, as microorganisms, plant residues and other living organisms are preserved.
The use of such methods is becoming more and more popular, because they meet the requirements of sustainable development and environmental protection, helping agricultural producers to obtain stable harvests with minimal impact on nature.
